The Rothleite hiking route is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes. The trail is 6.821 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 688 meters, making it a difficult hike that is sure to challenge even experienced hikers. As you start your journey, you will come across the Karspitze peak, which is located at the beginning of the trail, offering a great viewpoint and a perfect spot to take in the surrounding scenery.

Continuing along the trail, you will reach the Zirmaitalm restaurant about 2.28 kilometers into the hike, where you can grab a bite to eat and refuel before continuing on. Further along the route, at approximately 3.15 kilometers from the start, you will find the Rothleite peak, a natural peak that offers panoramic views of the area.

As you make your way back, you can stop by the Gostnerhof restaurant, located right at the beginning of the trail, to relax and unwind after a challenging hike. Along the way, you will also come across various information points and benches where you can take a break and learn more about the area.

It is important to note that this hike is of a difficult level due to its length and elevation gain. Therefore, it is recommended to come prepared with proper hiking gear, including sturdy shoes, plenty of water, and snacks.
