Welcome to the Sentiero delle Casoline hiking route! This beautiful trail is located in a picturesque area with stunning views and diverse points of interest along the way.

As you start your hike, you'll pass by a convenient parking lot, making it easy to access the trailhead. Just a short distance away, you'll find Trattoria La Gabiola, a charming restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat before or after your hike.

Midway through the hike, you'll come across Passo della Porta, a scenic viewpoint where you can take in breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Nearby, there are informative signs providing interesting facts about the area, including the Sentiero dei Grandi Alberi trail.

Towards the end of the hike, you'll encounter Passo della Porta once again, along with historic wayside shrines that add a cultural touch to your outdoor adventure. If you're feeling adventurous, you can explore the natural cave entrances of Covolo in Sassolungo and Pozzo 2 Sassolungo.

This out-and-back trail spans approximately 5.4 kilometers and features an elevation gain of 515 meters, making it a moderately difficult hike. Be sure to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this unforgettable journey. Happy hiking!
