The Mulattiera del Cengìo hiking route is a challenging out-and-back trail spanning approximately 7.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 521 meters. The route is located in a picturesque area with stunning natural views.

As you start your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area for your vehicle. Just a short distance from the trailhead, you'll find a drinking water facility to fill up your water bottle before setting off. As you continue on, at around 2.2 kilometers into the hike, there is another drinking water station for your convenience.

One of the highlights of the trail is the prominent peak known as Monte Cengìo, located approximately 3.71 kilometers from the starting point. This peak offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape, making it a perfect spot for a rest and photo opportunity.

Midway through the hike, at 3.67 kilometers from the start, there is a viewpoint where you can pause and take in the stunning scenery. Additionally, at the same distance, there is a cozy alpine hut called Rifugio Gruppo Stella Cometa, offering a resting place and possibly some refreshments.

Towards the end of the trail, you'll find another viewpoint and a bench to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. After a fulfilling hike, you can make your way back to the start point, completing the out-and-back route.
