This hiking route is a challenging 8.288-kilometer circular trail that takes approximately 3 hours and 13 minutes to complete. The route has an elevation gain of 522 meters, offering breathtaking views and interesting points of interest along the way.

You will start your hike at a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before heading towards the trail. As you make your way through the trail, you will come across a cave entrance approximately 4 kilometers into the hike. This natural feature provides a unique experience for hikers to explore.

About midway through the hike, at around 3.68 kilometers from the start, you will reach Rifugio Gruppo Stella Cometa, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.

Throughout the trail, you will encounter several viewpoint spots that offer panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. One of these viewpoints is the Batteria d'artiglieria, located at approximately 4.02 kilometers from the start, offering a spectacular vantage point to rest and take in the scenery.

As you continue your journey, you will also pass by two peaks, Monte Singìo and Monte Cengìo, providing additional opportunities to appreciate the natural beauty of the area.

For your convenience, drinking water sources are available at two points along the trail, one at 0.13 kilometers from the start and the other at 2.26 kilometers.

It is advisable to bring an ample water supply, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check weather conditions before embarking on this challenging hike. The trail offers a variety of terrain and elevation changes, so be prepared for a strenuous but rewarding experience.

The endpoint of this hike is the Osservatorio d'artiglieria, where you can enjoy a well-deserved rest and take in the views before heading back to the starting point.
