This challenging hiking route, known as Mulattiera del Cengìo, offers stunning views and a total distance of 7.153 kilometers with an elevation gain of 488 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is around 2 hours and 52 minutes.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across a convenient parking area right at the beginning of the route. As you hike along, you will encounter a drinking water station about 0.13 kilometers from the start, allowing you to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated.

About midway through the hike, at 2.24 kilometers from the start, there is a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature before continuing on. At 2.26 kilometers from the start, another drinking water station is available for your convenience.

As you approach the peak of Monte Cengìo, located 3.55 kilometers from the start, the trail offers spectacular views of the surrounding area. At the peak, you can take in the breathtaking scenery and rest before making your way back.

Further along the trail, at 3.55 kilometers from the start, you will find another viewpoint that provides a different perspective of the landscape. Additionally, at 3.58 kilometers from the start, there is Rifugio Gruppo Stella Cometa, an alpine hut where you can take a break, enjoy a meal, and take in the serene atmosphere.

It is recommended to bring an adequate supply of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear for this trek. As the weather can change quickly in mountainous regions, be sure to check the forecast before embarking on the Mulattiera del Cengìo hike.
