This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Rifugio Monte Falcone. The route is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 5.982 kilometers and an elevation gain of 599 meters, making it a difficult hike that is best suited for experienced hikers.

As you begin your journey, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the start of the trail. Just a short distance away, there is Trattoria La Gabiola, a restaurant where you can grab a meal or a refreshing drink before or after your hike.

As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by the historic Capitello di Montefalcone wayside shrine, adding a cultural element to your outdoor adventure. Further along the route, you will reach Monte Campetto, a peak offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Midway through the hike, you will come across Passo della Porta, where you can find information about the area and take a moment to rest and refuel. Nearby, you can explore the Covolo in Sassolungo and Pozzo 2 Sassolungo cave entrances, adding an exciting element to your trek.

Towards the end of the trail, you will reach Rifugio Monte Falcone, an alpine hut where you can relax and take in the breathtaking views of the Chiampo Valley.
