This hiking route takes you through the breathtaking area of Alto los Riegos. The trail is 5.553 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 749 meters, making it a difficult yet rewarding journey. It will take approximately 3 hours and 9 minutes to complete.

As you begin your hike, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the start of the trail, you will find a convenient parking area for your vehicle. About 0.12 kilometers into the hike, there is a cozy cafe called Bar de Tuiza de Arriba where you can grab a snack or a cup of coffee.

Further along the trail, approximately 0.08 kilometers from the start, you will find a peaceful picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy a meal amidst nature. Around 0.05 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the Centro de información del Parque Natural Las Ubiñas-La Mesa, where you can gather information about the area.

As you trek along, approximately 0.09 kilometers from the start, you will find the Fuente la Sirrieḷḷa, a source of drinking water to refill your bottles. Continuing on, at 1.37 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a natural spring called Fuente del Aguilón to quench your thirst.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the peak of Alto los Riegos, located 2.78 kilometers from the start. The summit offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes, making the challenging trek worthwhile.

On the way back, you can stop by the Fuente de la Plana, a spring located 1.36 kilometers from the start, to rest and replenish your water supply. As you make your way back to the starting point, be sure to visit the informational point located 0.04 kilometers from the start for any additional insights about the area.

Before embarking on this hike, make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast.
