This hiking route takes you on a 12.755-kilometer journey through a challenging and extremely difficult terrain in the beautiful area of Lago el Chagu.
As you start your hike, you'll come across "Lago el Chagu", a picturesque lake located 6.38 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. You can enjoy the tranquil waters and take in the scenic views before continuing your adventure.
Along the way, you'll pass by "Pico Bildeo", a peak situated just 0.13 kilometers from the start of the trail, offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings. Further ahead, at 2.52 kilometers into the hike, you'll encounter "Coḷḷéu la Felguera", a saddle that provides a perfect spot to take a break and admire the natural beauty of the area.
As you venture on, you'll reach "Coḷḷá Potrera", another saddle located 4.74 kilometers from the start, offering a unique vantage point for taking in the surrounding landscapes.
Throughout the hike, you'll also find various water sources like springs and drinking water points, ensuring you stay hydrated during your journey. Keep in mind to bring an adequate supply of water and snacks, as well as checking the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike.
The trail is an out-and-back type, so you'll retrace your steps on the way back, giving you a chance to see the stunning views from a different perspective. Be prepared for a total elevation gain of 342 meters over the duration of approximately 3 hours and 48 minutes.
