Welcome to the hiking route to Hochalmspitze! This challenging circular trail covers a distance of 8.19 kilometers with an elevation gain of 552 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure for experienced hikers.

The trail starts at the parking area where you can leave your car safely before embarking on the journey. As you begin your hike, you'll come across several points of interest along the way. The first one is a refreshing water source located just 160 meters from the trail, perfect for filling up your water bottle before heading further.

As you continue, you'll pass by Hasenstall, a cozy bar just 24 meters from the trail, where you can take a quick break and enjoy a drink. A bit further, Sonnhof restaurant awaits at 76 meters from the trail, offering a nice spot to grab a bite to eat.

Midway through the hike, at 2.06 kilometers from the start, Roßwaldhütte restaurant can be found, providing another opportunity to rest and refuel before tackling the remaining part of the trail.

Near the end of the hike, at 4.09 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the impressive peak of Hochalmspitze, offering breathtaking views as a reward for your hard work.
