Welcome to the Hacklberg-Trail in Saalbach-Hinterglemm! This circular hiking route spans approximately 12.3 kilometers with an elevation gain of 895 meters, making it an extremely difficult but rewarding trek for experienced hikers.
As you set off on the trail, you'll pass by the Speicherteich Gerstreit, a picturesque water reservoir located 1.01 kilometers from the start. Along the way, you'll encounter the Bergstadl, an alpine hut and restaurant nestled 1.98 kilometers into the hike, where you can refuel and take in the stunning views.
Throughout the hike, you'll also come across several water sources, including those located 4.55, 4.85, and 6.11 kilometers from the start, offering a chance to rest and replenish your supplies.
