This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the Hochhörndler Hütte in a scenic area with a total distance of 12.959 kilometers and an elevation gain of 733 meters.
Starting from the trailhead, you will pass by the Pulvermacherscherm alpine hut, which is located right at the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy some local cuisine. As you continue your hike, you will also come across the Hochhörndler Hütte where you can find accommodation if you wish to stay overnight.
Along the way, there are several points of interest such as parking areas where you can leave your vehicle before starting the hike. Make sure to bring enough water as there are drinking water facilities located midway through the trail.
