This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route to Grosses Fülhorn covers a distance of 13.267 kilometers with an elevation gain of 953 meters, taking approximately 5 hours and 27 minutes to complete.
The trail starts at a parking area located at the trailhead, where you can find information about the route. As you begin your journey, you will pass by a peaceful water feature just 0.26 kilometers from the start.
Continuing on, at around 1.23 kilometers from the beginning of the trail, you will reach Alpe Frid viewpoint, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. Further along the trail at 3.87 kilometers, you will encounter the majestic peak of Eggerhorn, a perfect spot to take a rest and soak in the breathtaking scenery.
As you trek onwards, keep an eye out for benches along the way at 3.05 and 3.85 kilometers from the start, providing a convenient place to stop and relax. Additionally, there are informative signposts situated at 4.44 and 4.63 kilometers into the hike, offering insights into the surroundings.
