Welcome to the Vast & Furious hiking route. This challenging out-and-back trail covers a distance of 9.478 kilometers with an elevation gain of 769 meters, making it a difficult yet rewarding adventure for hikers.

The trail starts at a parking area, conveniently located at the beginning of the route. As you begin your journey, you will come across several points of interest to enhance your hiking experience. About 4.45 kilometers into the trail, you will find a water source, providing a refreshing spot to rest and refill your water bottle.

Further along the trail, at the 2.29 kilometer mark, there is another water source for your convenience. As you continue your ascent, you will encounter a picnic site at 2.26 kilometers and another at 1.04 kilometers, perfect for a break and enjoying the stunning views.

For those interested in local cuisine, the Edelweiss restaurant is located just 0.11 kilometers from the trail. It offers a great opportunity to fuel up before the return journey.

Additionally, there are various benches scattered along the trail, providing resting spots and scenic viewpoints at different distances from the start. Information points are also available along the route, offering insights into the area's history and wildlife.

As you reach the midpoint of the hike, approximately 4.1 kilometers into the trail, you will find a viewpoint where you can admire the surrounding landscapes.

Before embarking on this adventure, make sure to bring plenty of water, as the trail can be quite demanding. It is also recommended to check the weather forecast and wear appropriate hiking gear for a safe and enjoyable experience.
