This challenging out-and-back trail spans 9.478 kilometers with an elevation gain of 769 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure for hikers.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey through beautiful natural landscapes. Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest such as picnic sites, benches, and informational stops.

As you trek along the trail, you will pass by refreshing water sources that are perfect for replenishing your supply. Be sure to bring enough water with you as well, as staying hydrated is crucial on this demanding hike.

At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Edelweiss restaurant, a great spot to grab a bite to eat before or after your hike. Further along, you will come across viewpoints where you can pause to take in the stunning scenery.

As you continue on, you'll find benches scattered along the route where you can rest and enjoy the surroundings. The Bergrestaurant Fleschen offers another opportunity to refuel and relax midway through your journey.
