This extremely difficult 16.864-kilometer circular hike will take you through the stunning alpine landscape of the Grande Traversata delle Alpi. The route starts at Ponte Campo where you can find parking. Make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast before heading out.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by Lago Bianco, a beautiful alpine lake located 6.26 kilometers from the start of the trail. This serene spot offers a perfect place to take in the surrounding natural beauty.

About 4.22 kilometers into the hike, you will come across Rifugio Citta Di Arona, an alpine hut where you can take a break and refuel before continuing on your adventure.

Further along the trail, at the 8.1-kilometer mark, you will encounter another water source at one of the designated drinking water points.
