This hiking route takes you through the scenic area surrounding Jung Kanzel. The route is an out-and-back type, starting at P4 Burgwaldwiese parking lot and culminating at Jung Kanzel viewpoint.
Along the way, you'll pass by several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find Hanke's Cafe- Restaurant Souvenir, a great spot to grab a bite before embarking on your hike. As you continue, you'll encounter a few restaurants including another one closer to the start and a shelter where you can take a break if needed.
Further along the trail, you'll come across the Krimmler Waterfalls, a natural wonder that is definitely worth a visit. The route also includes various viewpoints such as Rieman Kanzel, Regen Kanzel, and Sendtner Kanzel, offering stunning vistas of the surroundings.
The trail is relatively easy with a distance of 3.2 kilometers and an elevation gain of 120 meters.
