This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Strada militare Fenil-Pramand-Föens-Jafferau. The trail spans a distance of 12.2 kilometers with an elevation gain of 879 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across Caserma Grotte del Seguret, an ancient ruin located 1.33 kilometers from the trailhead. Further along the path, at 4.2 kilometers, you will reach Col Basset, a natural saddle that offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Continuing on, at 3.73 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter Vin Vert, a picturesque peak that provides a great spot for a rest. Be sure to stay hydrated, and there's a drinking water station 1.21 kilometers from the start. Additionally, at 2.2 kilometers, you will find an information point to learn more about the area.
Further along the trail, you will reach Rochers de l'Aigle, another peak offering panoramic views at 4.95 kilometers into the hike. Keep an eye out for the various cave entrances along the way, including one at 0.55 kilometers and another at 0.85 kilometers from the start.
As you near the end of the route, approximately 6.1 kilometers in, you will come across another peak with beautiful rock formations to admire. Finally, the trail culminates at a parking area at the start point, where you can reflect on the challenging yet rewarding journey you've completed.
