Located in the beautiful alpine region, this challenging hiking route covers a distance of approximately 9 kilometers with an elevation gain of 809 meters, making it suitable for experienced hikers. The estimated duration for the hike is around 4 hours and 6 minutes.

Starting from the trailhead, hikers will pass by the Gruppo alpini di Bardonecchia memorial at the very beginning of the route. As you continue along the trail, you will come across the Lago di Rochemolles, a picturesque lake just 1.12 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the natural beauty around you.

Midway through the hike, at a distance of 4.37 kilometers from the start, you will reach the historic Bivacco LXIII ruins, offering a glimpse into the past. Further along the trail at 4.42 kilometers, hikers will encounter the Col de Pelouse / Colle della Pelouse saddle, providing a stunning viewpoint of the surrounding mountains.

For those in need of refreshment, there is a drinking water point located just 0.03 kilometers from the start, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout the hike. Additionally, a picnic site is also available at the same distance, allowing hikers to relax and refuel before continuing on the trail.
