This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area of Rocca Pia, offering stunning views and a challenging trek. With a distance of 16.196 kilometers and an elevation gain of 791 meters, this hike is considered extremely difficult, so make sure you are prepared for a tough journey.

Starting at the trailhead, you will find a convenient parking area nearby. As you begin your trek, you will come across a restaurant called Il Faggeto around 1.76 kilometers into the hike, where you can grab a meal to energize yourself for the rest of the journey.

Continuing on, at around 2.3 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Fonte di Sant. Antonio fountain, a perfect spot to rest and rehydrate. Further along the trail, at 2.44 kilometers, you will find the Bosco di Sant'Antonio alpine hut, offering a cozy accommodation option if you wish to extend your hike.

Around the midway point of the hike, at 6.26 kilometers, you will reach the first peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings. As you push forward, you will encounter two more peaks at 7.07 kilometers and 8.1 kilometers, providing even more spectacular vistas.

Throughout the hike, there are several drinking water sources conveniently located along the trail to keep you hydrated. Make sure to bring an ample water supply, as the challenging terrain and length of the hike will require plenty of fluids to stay energized.
