This hiking route takes you to the stunning area around Monte Genzana. With a total distance of 21.7 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1223 meters, this route is classified as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a challenging adventure.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to park your vehicle here and begin your journey towards Monte Genzana. Approximately 3.02 kilometers into the hike, you will find the cozy Trattoria La Ciminiera where you can stop for a meal or a quick break.

As you continue on, at around 5.13 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Fonte delle Bregnere, a beautiful spring where you can refresh and refill your water bottles. Further along the trail, at 7.6 kilometers, you will encounter Fonte Genzana, another spring for you to rest and hydrate.

Midway through the hike, at 10.85 kilometers, you will arrive at the majestic peak of Monte Genzana. Take in the breathtaking views and capture some unforgettable moments at this iconic location.

On your way back, around 3.2 kilometers from the starting point, you will find Fontana San Nicola, a drinking water fountain where you can quench your thirst before completing the hike.
