This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route takes you on a 16.652-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1224 meters in the picturesque area surrounding Dom na Komni and Bogatinsko sedlo.

Starting at the trailhead, you will first pass by Planinski dom pri Krnskih jezerih, an alpine hut located 3.75 kilometers from the start, where you can take a break and refuel. As you continue on the trail, you will come across the ruins of Nekdanja mejna stražnica Finančne straže about 7.97 kilometers into the hike.

Further along the path, at the 6.24-kilometer mark, you will encounter the historic site of Gorska vojašnica Cesare Battisti. You can also take a detour to visit Dom Dr. Klementa Juga, a restaurant and alpine hut located just 0.03 kilometers off the trail.

As you make your way back, don't miss the chance to see the beautiful Mlaka na Planini Duplje, a natural water feature located 4.36 kilometers from the start. Additionally, along the trail, you will find various informational points and peaks such as Snegomer, Vrh Duplja, and other noteworthy spots.
