This extremely difficult 18.044-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning La Suca peak. The trail starts at the parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this challenging adventure. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as this hike will take approximately 6 hours and 43 minutes to complete.
As you start the hike, you will come across the Gorg Blau, a beautiful water feature located 7.43 kilometers from the trailhead. Further along the route, at around the 4.31-kilometer mark, you will encounter the historic ruins of Cal Feló. Take some time to explore these fascinating remnants of the past before continuing on your journey.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 8.35 kilometers from the start, you will find another refreshing water source to replenish your supplies. As you make your way towards the La Suca peak, you will pass by several points of interest, including informative spots like AE71- Lliurona and AE67- Pont de la Muga, where you can learn more about the area's history and geography.
At around the 9.02-kilometer mark, you will reach the highlight of the hike, the La Suca peak. Take in the breathtaking panoramic views from the summit before retracing your steps back to the starting point.
Throughout the hike, you may also come across other interesting landmarks such as Mina del Pont, Tuta de l'Ermedà, and Forat d'en Met. Keep an eye out for these points of interest as you traverse the rugged terrain.
