This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area around Sagrat Cor. The trail is 5.6 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 276 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. It is an out-and-back route, with the destination being Sagrat Cor.
As you start your hike, you will pass by various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find Ca La Nídia, a restaurant located just 0.03 kilometers away from the start. Further along the trail, you will come across the Besalú - Pont Romànic information point, El camp rodó information point, and the Oficina de Turisme.
Midway through the hike, you will reach the Sagrat Cor viewpoint, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. This viewpoint is 2.8 kilometers from the start of the trail. As you continue on, you will pass by Puig Cornador, a peak just 2.8 kilometers from the start.
Before heading back, you can visit the Jardins de Besalú restaurant, located just 0.03 kilometers from the start. Make sure to bring enough water, as the entire hike will take approximately 2 hours.
