This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Grand Chat in France. The trail is 4.927 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 437 meters, making it of moderate difficulty and taking approximately 2 hours and 13 minutes to complete.

As you start your hike, you'll come across the Baraque de la Jasse wilderness hut about 0.33 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to take a rest and enjoy the surroundings. Further along the trail, at around 0.95 kilometers from the start, you'll find the information point called Sous le Col du Champet, where you can learn more about the area.

At 1.15 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Col du Champet, offering a stunning view of the surroundings. If you continue on, about 2.46 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the peak known as Grand Chat. This is a perfect place to take in panoramic views and snap some photos.

Along the way, at about 0.36 kilometers from the start, you'll find a drinking water point to refill your water bottles. It's always a good idea to bring plenty of water and snacks for the hike. And don't forget to check the weather forecast before you head out to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

After reaching Grand Chat, you can retrace your steps back to the starting point, making this an out-and-back trail. As you make your way back, be sure to take in the serene beauty of the area and appreciate the natural surroundings.
