Welcome to the hiking route to Peñalba!
Located in a picturesque area, this 7.1-kilometer difficult trail offers hikers a challenging yet rewarding experience with an elevation gain of 467 meters. Make sure to bring enough water and snacks for the journey.
As you start your hike, you'll come across a picnic site right at the beginning, perfect for a quick break or a meal before embarking on the trail. About 1.2 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a peak that offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Continuing on, at around 2.7 kilometers, there is a spring located conveniently close to the trail for refilling water bottles. Further ahead, at 3.3 kilometers, you'll encounter another peak that provides a breathtaking vantage point for a rest stop and some photography.
At the midpoint of the trail, at 3.4 kilometers, you'll reach Collado Puerto de Horcadas, a saddle that marks a great spot to take a breather and admire the natural beauty of the area. As you head back on the trail, make sure to stop by the peak located at 2.9 kilometers for one last scenic view before completing the hike.
