Welcome to the Montemoro hiking route! This extremely difficult 13.899-kilometer out-and-back trail offers breathtaking views and a challenging trek for experienced hikers.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll find parking available just a short distance away. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as the route takes you through rugged terrain with an elevation gain of 528 meters.
About 6.95 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the peak of Montemoro, where you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding area. This is a great spot to take a break and capture some amazing photos.
As you continue on, you'll come across El puerto pirenaico de Argoviejo, a historical site that adds to the cultural experience of the hike. Further along the trail, you'll encounter Collado Grande, another saddle point offering stunning views of the landscape.
