Hiking : Mirador de O Tito Basto

This hiking route will take you through the beautiful natural landscapes of the area, starting at the parking area near the trailhead. Make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.

As you begin your journey, you'll pass by a bar where you can grab a snack or drink before heading out. Further along the trail, about 1 kilometer in, you'll come across the Refugio de Calzilarruego, a shelter where you can take a break and rest if needed.

As you continue onwards, you'll reach La Cuta, a peak located about 4 kilometers from the starting point. The trail will then lead you to Punta Diazas, another peak offering stunning views of the surrounding area, approximately 2 kilometers away.

Further along the route, you'll encounter the Mirador de Punta Acutas, a viewpoint providing a picturesque vantage point over the landscape. Make sure to take a moment to soak in the beauty of the area.

Continuing on, you'll reach the Mirador de Calcilarruego, another viewpoint offering breathtaking scenery. From there, the trail will lead you to Sierra de las Cutas, a peak located about 5 kilometers from the starting point.

The final destination of this out-and-back route is the Mirador de O Tito Basto, where you'll be rewarded with panoramic views from the highest point of the hike, at an elevation of 2144 meters. This endpoint offers a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings before heading back the way you came.

With a total distance of 12.5 kilometers and an elevation gain of 956 meters, this hike is of moderate difficulty. Be prepared for a challenging yet rewarding adventure through the diverse landscapes of the area. Enjoy your hike and stay safe on the trails!
