This hike takes you through the stunning area surrounding Refuge des Espuguettes. The trail is a challenging 7.46-kilometer circular route with an elevation gain of 629 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure.

As you begin your hike, you'll pass by the Point d'Information touristique de Gavarnie, where you can gather information about the area before starting your journey. Along the way, you'll come across the Cabane d'Alans wilderness hut, a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Midway through the hike, you'll reach Refuge des Espuguettes, where you can find shelter and accommodations if needed. This is also a great spot to refill your water bottles and rest before continuing on your journey.

Throughout the hike, you'll find a mix of amenities such as drinking water stations, restaurants like Bar Brasserie Pizzeria "Le Mourgat" and Bar Brasserie Les Glaciers, as well as a campsite at Aire de bivouac du Refuge des Espuguettes.
