This hiking route will take you to Punta Diazas, offering stunning views and a challenging trek. The trail starts off at a parking area, and you'll find a bar nearby for any last-minute refreshments. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across the Refugio de Calzilarruego shelter about 1.63 kilometers into the hike, providing a nice resting spot.
About 0.13 kilometers from the start, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area. Further along the trail, at about 0.41 kilometers from the start, you'll find a bench to take a break. Another bench and an informational point can be found at 0.54 kilometers from the start, just before reaching the Mirador de Calcilarruego viewpoint.
As you continue on, the trail will lead you to the impressive Punta Diazas peak, standing at 3.39 kilometers from the start. From there, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to bring enough water and snacks, as the hike covers a distance of approximately 6.773 kilometers and includes an elevation gain of 842 meters.
