This challenging 8.469-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the stunning peak of Mrzli vrh, located in a beautiful natural area. Starting at the parking area, you will begin your ascent towards the peak.
Along the way, you will come across the peak of Pretovč, located approximately 2.89 kilometers from the start, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. Further along the trail at around 3.8 kilometers from the starting point, you will encounter the Cave Hungarian military monument, adding a touch of history to your journey.
As you continue your hike, you will reach an information point located approximately 2.65 kilometers from the start, providing valuable insights into the area's flora, fauna, and history. Finally, after a challenging but rewarding trek, you will reach the summit of Mrzli vrh at around 4.23 kilometers from the start, where you can marvel at the panoramic views stretching as far as the eye can see.
With an elevation gain of 455 meters, this hike is considered difficult and is best suited for experienced hikers.
