This hiking route takes you through the stunning landscape of the Dupeljsko Jezero area. The trail is 16.126 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1360 meters, making it extremely difficult, so prepare yourself for a challenging adventure.

As you start your hike, you will come across the Dom Dr. Klementa Juga alpine hut just 0.03 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a great spot to rest and refuel before continuing on your journey. Further along the trail at 3.12 kilometers from the start, you'll find an information point called Snegomer, where you can learn more about the area.

Around the midway point of the hike at 7.96 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Planinski dom pri Krnskih jezerih alpine hut. This is another good opportunity to take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Nearby, at the same distance, there is a drinking water source for you to refill your bottles.

As you continue on, you'll pass by Mlaka na Planini Duplje, a beautiful water feature located 4.36 kilometers from the start, followed by Dupeljsko Jezero at 8.06 kilometers. These natural attractions add to the beauty of the surroundings and provide a serene atmosphere for hikers.

Throughout the hike, you'll also encounter several historic ruins, such as those located 6.03 kilometers from the start. These remnants add a sense of mystery and history to the trail, offering a unique perspective on the area.

Remember to bring plenty of water, as this is a long and strenuous hike. Check the forecast before heading out, as weather conditions can change quickly in the mountains.
