This hiking route takes you through a challenging and extremely difficult terrain, covering a distance of 18.189 kilometers with an elevation gain of 852 meters.

The trail starts at Planina Zapleč, where you can find parking facilities. As you begin your trek, you will come across the Spomenik brigada »Ivan Gradnik« monument, followed by the Križ avstro-ogrskega 20. lovskega bataljona memorial and the Spominsko obeležje italijanskega poročnika Vita Nerija memorial.

Further along the trail, you will encounter the Italijanska kaverna iz I. sv. vojne memorial and the Napisni kamen avstro-ogrskega 3. polka gorskega topništva na Lukeževem brdu memorial.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the Hudi vrh peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. Continuing on, you will pass by the Lipnik peak before reaching the destination point at Lipnik.

Along the way, you will find drinking water sources at various points like the one located 0.52 kilometers from the start and another at 0.99 kilometers.

Remember to bring an ample water supply, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear as this route is quite strenuous. It is also advisable to check the weather forecast before embarking on this demanding journey.
