This hiking route will take you through a challenging terrain with a total distance of 26.743 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1623 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers.
The trail starts at a parking area approximately 5.16 kilometers from the beginning, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the journey. As you make your way along the path, you will encounter a wayside shrine about 3.48 kilometers into the hike, providing a glimpse into the historic significance of the area.
Around the 5.3 kilometer mark, you will come across the viewpoint of "Borgo dei Lecci," offering a picturesque spot to take in the surrounding landscape. Additionally, there is an artwork named "San Pio" and a bench for resting situated nearby.
Further along the trail, at approximately 11.21 kilometers, you will reach the peak of "Le Scalelle," providing a stunning panoramic view of the natural scenery. For those looking to spend the night, there is an alpine hut named "Gle Cucchiarun" at 8.49 kilometers from the start, offering accommodation options.
Towards the end of the hike, at 12.66 kilometers from the beginning, you will reach the peak of "M. Sora," the final destination of this circular route. After taking in the breathtaking views, you can make your way back to the starting point, passing by the various points of interest once again.
