This extremely difficult 29.974-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning area surrounding Serra Alta. With an elevation gain of 1454 meters and a duration of 10 hours and 34 minutes, this trail is not for the faint of heart.
As you start your journey, you will come across a water source about 5.54 kilometers into the hike, perfect for refilling your water bottle. The trailhead also offers parking facilities, located right at the beginning of the route.
If you're looking for a bite to eat before embarking on your adventure, you'll find the Borgo dei Lecci restaurant conveniently situated at the trailhead as well. Be sure to fuel up before tackling the peaks ahead!
Throughout the hike, you will encounter several notable peaks such as Faggio Rotondo, Monte Terra Rossa, and Serra Alta itself. Each peak offers breathtaking views and a rewarding sense of accomplishment. Make sure to stop and take in the scenery along the way.
