This extremely difficult 14.5 km circular hiking route will take you through the stunning area surrounding Watzmannhaus in Berchtesgaden, Germany. The trail offers a challenging trek with 1276 meters of elevation gain, making it suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey at Wimbachbrücke, be sure to check out the Nationalpark-Infostelle for some insights into the area. Along the way, you'll come across various points of interest such as Falzalm Reitkaser, Mitterkaser, and Gasthof Wimbachklamm for some sustenance.
Midway through the hike, you'll reach the picturesque Watzmannhaus alpine hut, where you can take a break and admire the breathtaking views. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks as facilities may be limited along the trail.
