This difficult 7.138-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you through a stunning area with an elevation gain of 537 meters. The total duration of the hike is approximately 2 hours and 59 minutes.
Starting at Hinterbrand, you will pass by the picturesque Mitterkaseralm restaurant at the beginning of the trail, where you can fuel up before your journey. As you trek further, you will encounter the refreshing Wasserfall (waterfall) just 0.73 kilometers from the start. Take in the views at the Aussicht am Vogelstein (viewpoint) at 3.39 kilometers, offering a breathtaking panoramic vista of the surroundings.
Along the way, you will come across several informational stops where you can learn more about the area. These stops include the Hinterbrand information point at 0.13 kilometers, the Vogelstein information point at 1.26 kilometers, and more scattered throughout the trail.
