This hiking route is an extremely difficult 15.494 kilometers out-and-back trail that will take you approximately 4 hours to complete. The trail is located in a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain.
As you start your hike, you'll come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail for your convenience. Shortly after, you'll encounter La Croix de Mounis, a historic wayside cross located right by the trail. Further along the trail, you'll reach the Col de la Croix de Mounis, a natural saddle with informative signage nearby.
Along the way, you'll also find viewpoints such as Les Suques, although it's a bit off the trail, and springs like the one located 7.75 kilometers from the start. As you make your way back, you can rest on benches strategically placed along the trail at the 4.16 kilometer mark.
Remember to bring plenty of water, as this is an extremely difficult hike with an elevation gain of 174 meters. It's also important to check the weather forecast before heading out, as the terrain can be challenging.
