This extremely difficult hiking route will take you through the breathtaking area of Mirador Renahue. With a distance of 14.853 kilometers and an elevation gain of 670 meters, this trail is not for the faint of heart. Make sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging journey.
As you start your hike, you will come across La Pulguit, a restaurant where you can grab a quick bite to eat before hitting the trail. Further along the route, you will reach Refugio Tinquilco, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning scenery.
Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest such as Lago Chico, a beautiful lake located 3.29 kilometers from the start of the trail. Keep an eye out for waterfalls like Cascada Trufulco and Nido de Aguila, located at 2.16 and 1.83 kilometers from the start respectively.
For those looking for a panoramic view, make sure to visit Mirador 1 at 1.95 kilometers from the start and Mirador (1094m) at 2.41 kilometers. These viewpoints offer a stunning perspective of the surrounding landscape.
As you near the end of the trail, you will reach Laguna Avutardas, a tranquil lake located 7.21 kilometers from the start. Finally, the trail culminates at Mirador Renahue, a must-see attraction 7.43 kilometers from the beginning of the hike.
