This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding the Mirador (1094m) in Chile. The trail is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 4.819 kilometers and an elevation gain of 356 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.
Starting at the trailhead parking lot, you will pass by the La Pulguit restaurant, where you can grab a bite to eat before beginning your adventure. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across the Guarderia Control information point, where you can learn more about the area and its attractions.
About midway through the hike, you will reach Refugio Tinquilco, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the trail, you will encounter the Cascada Trufulco waterfall and Nido de Aguila waterfall, both offering picturesque photo opportunities.
As you continue on, you will pass by Bienvenidos a Parque Nacional Huerquehue, a welcome sign to the national park, and Mirador 1, a viewpoint with panoramic views of the area. Finally, you will reach the highlight of the hike, Mirador (1094m), where you can soak in the breathtaking scenery from an elevation of 1094 meters.
