This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Padre Encantado. The trail is 10.677 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 798.0 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 27 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you'll come across a parking area just 22.556 meters from the trailhead. About 2.69 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the Refugio del Volcán Pichincha alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery. Continuing on, at around 5.34 kilometers, you'll find the Padre Encantado peak, a natural beauty that offers stunning views of the surroundings.

Along the way, you'll also encounter informational points such as the "Mojon-guia" and "Cartel-Inf" signs providing interesting facts about the area. Additionally, there is a shelter facility located 20.539 meters from the trail, offering a place to rest and refuel.
