This extremely difficult hiking route takes you on a 20-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1385 meters to the stunning peak of La Cigalière. Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the Cabane d Antenac Inferieur at 5.49 kilometers into the hike, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Moving forward, at 6.18 kilometers, you will reach the Cabane d Antenac Superieur, another shelter where you can rest and refuel before continuing your ascent.

As you make your way to the peak, you will encounter the majestic peak of Sommet de Hourdouch at 8.91 kilometers into the hike. Take in the breathtaking views from this vantage point before pushing on towards La Cigalière. Closer to the end of the trail, at 10 kilometers, you will find the peak of La Cigalière, the highlight of the hike, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

This out-and-back route is not for the faint of heart, with its challenging terrain and steep inclines. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear.
