This hiking route starts at the parking area located at the beginning of the trail. The trail itself is a super easy 1.802-kilometer out-and-back route with no elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all skill levels.
As you begin your hike, you will pass by Lehenhaus, a natural water source just 0.02 kilometers from the starting point. Further along the trail at 0.33 kilometers, you will come across another water source. Continuing on, at 0.74 kilometers into the hike, you will see the peak known as Mühlberg off to the side of the trail.
About halfway through the hike, at 0.9 kilometers, there are multiple water sources nearby, providing a good opportunity to refill your water bottles. Be sure to bring an adequate supply of water with you, as staying hydrated is essential, especially on warmer days. Additionally, it's recommended to check the weather forecast before embarking on this hike.
At the end of the trail, you will reach the turnaround point at Am Sandacker. Take some time to rest and enjoy the surroundings before heading back the way you came.
