This hiking route takes you through the stunning Eisboden area, offering magnificent views and a challenging adventure. The route is an out-and-back type, spanning a total distance of 13.392 kilometers with an elevation gain of 929 meters. It is estimated to take around 5 hours and 25 minutes to complete, making it an extremely difficult hike suited for experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Grünsee, located 1.16 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This picturesque lake provides a serene setting for a brief rest stop before continuing on your trek. Along the way, you will encounter several water sources, such as springs and waterfalls, perfect for refilling your water bottles.

Near the midway point of the hike, you will find the Gasthaus Grünsee, a restaurant located at the Mittelstation. This is a great spot to refuel and grab a bite to eat before heading back.
