This hiking route takes you on a 6.09-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 472 meters, lasting approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes. The trail is rated as moderate in difficulty.

Starting at the trailhead, you will embark on the route to "Camino a Las lagunas de Claveles y los Pájaros", surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the area. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest that add to the charm of the hike.

About 1.75 kilometers from the start, you will come across "Laguna Chica de Peñalara", a picturesque water feature that provides a serene setting for a rest stop. As you continue your journey, at approximately 2.1 kilometers from the start, you will find an information point where you can learn more about the area.

Further ahead, around the 3.05-kilometer mark, you will encounter three more water points: one at 3.05 kilometers, another at 3.05 kilometers, and the third at 3.05 kilometers. These spots offer refreshing views and a chance to refuel before continuing on.

At the 3.05-kilometer mark, you will also find a viewpoint called "Mirador de Javier", providing a perfect opportunity to pause and take in the breathtaking vistas. Additionally, at 3.05 kilometers, there is another viewpoint offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.

As you make your way back, you will pass by a saddle at 1.8 kilometers and a peak at 2.96 kilometers from the start, adding a sense of achievement to your hike.
