As you start the hike, you'll come across the Cantocochino parking area, situated right at the beginning of the trail. A bit further along, about 0.31 kilometers from the starting point, you'll find the Punto de Información de Canto Cochino, where you can gather useful information about the area before continuing your journey.
Around the midway point of the hike, at approximately 2.05 kilometers from the start, you'll spot the Refugio Giner de los Ríos, an alpine hut where you can take a rest and enjoy the scenic views. If you're in need of sustenance, Casa Torrero and Mesón del Montañero, both located close to the trail, offer a perfect spot to grab a bite to eat.
For nature lovers, Fuente de Pedro Acuña, a natural spring located 2.09 kilometers from the start, provides a refreshing stop along the way. Additionally, at various points throughout the hike, you'll encounter peaks like La Calavera, with its unique rock formation, and La Familia, perfect for capturing memorable moments.
As you approach the end of the circular route, about 2.78 kilometers from the start, you'll reach another peak at 45.180 kilometers, offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings. Finally, as you head back towards the starting point, make sure to stop by the Canto Cochino picnic site, situated just 0.02 kilometers away, for a relaxing break before concluding your hike.
