The Dr. Siemon Weg hiking route is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes. The route is circular and covers a distance of 10.663 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1278.0 meters, making it extremely difficult in terms of difficulty.

As you start your hike, you will come across the Parken Appartements Schwarzerhof parking area, located just 0.11 kilometers from the trail. Further along, at 2.5 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source ideal for refilling your water bottles.

One of the highlights of the hike is the Köllenzeiger viewpoint and peak, which is located 2.34 kilometers from the start directly on the trail. This spot offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area.

For those in need of a break, the Alpengasthof Pension Praxmar restaurant is situated right on the trail, offering a perfect pit stop to refuel and relax. Additionally, there is a drinking water station conveniently located at 1.13 kilometers from the start.

As you continue your journey, you will pass by the Oberstkogel peak and the Oberstkogel Gipfelkreuz, which are located at a distance of 4.22 kilometers and 4.04 kilometers from the start, respectively. These points provide excellent photo opportunities and panoramic views of the landscape.
