This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 7.863 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1006 meters, making it a difficult hike that will test your endurance.

As you start your journey, you'll pass by the "Parken Appartements Schwarzerhof" parking area, located just 0.0 kilometers from the trailhead. About 2.5 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across a water source, providing a perfect opportunity to refill your water bottles.

One of the highlights of this route is the "Köllenzeiger" viewpoint and peak, located 2.34 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a break and soak in the panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

As you continue onwards, you'll encounter the "Kreuzschröfen" peak at around 3.84 kilometers from the start, offering another scenic viewpoint along the trail. However, the "Oberstkogel" peak and "Oberstkogel Gipfelkreuz" are located at 3.93 kilometers from the start and are a bit off the main trail, so you'll need to take a slight detour to reach them.

Along the way, you'll also find a drinking water station approximately 1.13 kilometers from the start, allowing you to stay hydrated throughout your hike. Additionally, there is the "Alpengasthof Pension Praxmar" restaurant at the trailhead, where you can fuel up before or after your journey.

It is recommended to bring an ample water supply, as well as snacks and proper hiking gear. Make sure to check the weather forecast before heading out, as conditions can change rapidly in mountainous areas.
