This hiking route will take you to the majestic Roßkogel peak, offering stunning views and challenging terrain along the way. The trail is 9.634 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1409 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers.

Starting your journey, you will pass by the Gasthof zur Post restaurant, located right at the beginning of the trail. As you continue, you will come across an information center (Tourismusbüro) providing insights into the area's history. Further along, you will find a wayside cross and benches for resting and taking in the surrounding nature.

Midway through the hike, there is a drinking water station for you to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated. Additionally, there is a parking area nearby for those driving to the trailhead. As you approach the Roßkogel peak, you will be greeted with more benches to relax and enjoy the panoramic views.

At the Roßkogel peak, you can take in the breathtaking scenery before making your way back along the same trail. For a post-hike meal, you can visit the Marmota restaurant located near the trailhead.
