This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route takes you through a breathtaking area with a total distance of 17.065 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1238 meters. The duration of this hike is approximately 7 hours and 2 minutes.

Starting at Mittlerer Kesselgupf, you will follow the trail that leads you to several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Parkplatz GH Kreh where you can park your vehicle before starting the hike. As you continue on the trail, you will pass by the Berggasthof Edelweiss, offering limited wheelchair access and outdoor smoking facilities, around 4.1 kilometers from the start.

Around 8.1 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Rieder Hütte, an alpine hut with a website for more information. Along the way, you will also come across the Notunterstand & Winterraum Feuerkogel shelter, providing a place to rest.

Throughout the hike, you will encounter several peaks such as Steinkogel, Heumahdgupf, Pledigupf, and Kleiner Totengrabengupf, each offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, there are informational points and viewpoints providing more insight into the area.
