The Feuerkogel hiking route is a challenging out-and-back trail that spans approximately 8.7 kilometers with an elevation gain of 928 meters. The trail is located in a picturesque area with stunning views and varying terrains.

As you start your journey, you'll come across the Parkplatz GH Kreh parking area, situated right at the beginning of the trail. This is a convenient spot to leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. Along the way, you'll encounter various points of interest such as the Gasthaus zur Kreh restaurant, offering a perfect stop for some sustenance.

Midway through the hike, you'll reach the Feuerkogel peak, a natural landmark that provides breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. Nearby, you'll find the Christophorushütte alpine hut, a great place to rest and take in the scenery.
