This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Hochsteinalm. The trail is 2.129 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 247 meters, making it an easy hike that will take approximately 1 hour and 6 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across a picturesque waterfall just 0.66 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This refreshing natural feature is perfect for a quick break to admire the scenery.

Further along the trail, at 0.83 kilometers from the start, you will find a bench where you can take a rest and enjoy the views. Continuing on, at 1.06 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Hochsteinalm, a charming alpine hut and restaurant. Here, you can indulge in some delicious mountain cuisine and take a well-deserved break before heading back.

As you make your way back, you can stop by the wayside cross located at 1.06 kilometers from the start, adding a touch of historic charm to your hike. Additionally, at 1.06 kilometers, you will also find a zoo called Streichelzoo Hochsteinalm, where you can interact with friendly animals.
